A large group of Humboldt State cyclists attended the 40th anniversary celebration of the King Range Recreation Area in Southern Humboldt County on Saturday. Cyclists came from all over the county to help with new trail construction and to enjoy the fruits of dig days gone by. As the sun set over a beautiful, calm and clear Shelter Cove, riders enjoyed every last minute of daylight. Miles of XC and countless runs in the skills park helped the HSU Team get up to pace with our first race less than two weeks away. Watch as Kevin Pabinquit of the HSU Cycling Team flows the King Range Double Black Diamond Jump Run for the last time this day. Cramps were creeping in as this run was filmed, yet somehow he still managed to throw a few whips.
