The fall collegiate MTB Season kicks off this month, and Humboldt State Cycling is ready. The HSU team is the largest it has been, perhaps ever, with 40 individuals enrolled in our collegiate cycling club. Team members have been taking advantage of the fine fall weather, getting quality rides in early this semester. Today the weather took a run for the wet, but it certainly won’t deter these talented and diverse cyclists. The first race on the WCCC collegiate calendar is at Cal Poly on September 25 and 26, and HSU will represent. Plans are moving forward for HSU’s hosted mountain bike festival October 30 and 31 in Arcata, Calif. It is going to be an exciting season, so stay tuned for stories from the trail.
