Although the road race was canceled at UC Santa Cruz, Humboldt State attended and represented at the UCSC Criterium. Congratulations to Jamie Lira for winning the Women’s C criterium hosted this weekend. She not only won the race, she won two of the three primes! Traci Kroll finished 7th in her first Women’s B crit (a day after capturing 4th and a prime win in a Cat 4 crit in Merced.)
Congrats to HSU’s men’s team for top ten finishes! Josh Schultz grabbed 8th in Men’s C (and also awesome finish in Merced on Satuday). In Men’s D at the UCSC race in Salinas, Gianpaul Ferioli got 8th, Steve Allen 9th (with 2nd place prime) and Tim Davidson 12th (with prime win). Kevin Pabinquit had a strong pack finish, giving HSU well-earned points toward the conference standings.
Way to go team!
Berkeley is this coming weekend and then the HSU home race is March 19 and 20. Get ready!
